What
do you mean with "insurance in excess of $1000"?
|
|
| A |
Insurance
excess or deductible is the amount you are liable for if you are
at fault in the event of an accident. Damages that cost less or

is more than the excess than you are liable to the limit of the
excess.

|
|
|
|
| Q |
Is
there any way to reduce the excess?
|
|
| A |
Yes,
optional insurance premium of $5/day reduces the excess to $250

for the rest of the rental period). These are only available for
hires of 4 days or more and for drivers 25 yrs or over.

|
| Q |
Which
rate is used for a rental that covers two different rates?
|
|
| A |
To
be fair the rental is rated at its total days rate for its
corresponding months.
Example 1: An Economy
rental that starts on 5 October for 30 days qualifies for $22/day
for 26 days in October and $31 for 4 days inNovember
Example 2: A Compact car
is hired from 31 October for 16 days will be charged at $29 x
